Talk to a Lawyer Editorial Team
Talk to a Lawyer is the named publisher of its Law Firm pages and legal-preparation guides. The editorial team structures information around practical tasks: identifying the jurisdiction, organising documents, comparing scope and fees, and finding official sources. It does not provide legal advice or choose a firm for the reader.
Named Legal Reviewer
A named practising-lawyer reviewer has not yet been configured. The production build is deliberately prevented from enabling search indexing until a real reviewer’s name, credentials and HTTPS biography page are supplied and the review work is completed. No placeholder or invented reviewer will be published.
How Guides Are Researched
Guides start with legislation, courts, tribunals, regulators, government services and Legal Aid bodies. Sources are linked near the relevant material. Editorial examples are labelled and are not client stories, predictions or claims about a Law Firm’s outcomes.
What Legal Review Covers
- Whether the guide clearly distinguishes general preparation from legal advice.
- Whether jurisdiction and deadline warnings are appropriately expressed.
- Whether primary sources support important process descriptions.
- Whether examples avoid implying a guaranteed legal outcome.
- Whether the review date and reviewer identity are visible.
Corrections and Updating
Readers, Law Firms and lawyers can use the corrections and firm updates page. Material corrections should update the page date and, where legal framing changes, return to the named reviewer before publication.
